Who We Are
We are a group of farmers, educators, organizers, entrepreneurs, and parents bringing new life to a 163-acre farm in the hills of Colrain, Massachusetts. Together, we are building a multi-racial, multi-generational community rooted in regenerative agriculture, affordable housing, shared stewardship, and mutual care.
The farm will be home to a commercial chestnut orchard and perennial plant nursery, as well as affordable homes for farmers and community members. We are creating a place where people can grow food, build livelihoods, and deepen their relationship with the land.
A restored barn and surrounding landscape will provide space for workshops, celebrations, education, cultural events, and everyday community life. The farm will be a place where people of different generations and backgrounds can share knowledge, resources, and meaningful work.
We believe land can be held differently: as a shared resource rather than a commodity, stewarded for the long term rather than extracted for short-term gain. Our work is grounded in resilience, abundance, reciprocity, and a commitment to making land, housing, and community more accessible.
